To enhance our team at the a&o Hostel Hamburg Reeperbahn, we are seeking YOU as a dedicated and self-sufficient Student Guest Services Associate / Reception Specialist (m/f/x).

We are looking for enrolled students, working students, temporary student employees, university attendees, and technical college scholars who are enthusiastic about a part-time role in the hospitality sector.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will serve as the primary contact for guests in the lobby, assisting them with various inquiries. You will greet our arriving groups, such as school classes, and guide them through the hotel’s customs and procedures. For larger groups, you will aid guests with self-check-in and the necessary check-in preparations. You will be responsible for providing individual greetings and support to guests during breakfast. Actively collecting guest feedback and encouraging reviews on online rating platforms will be part of your role. You will provide support at the reception desk (check-in/check-out). Regular monitoring of online rating platforms will be one of your tasks.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

You are an enrolled student (m/f/x) with a valid enrollment certificate for a full-time study program. You enjoy engaging with guests and providing excellent service. You are approachable and proactive in your interactions. Ideally, you have prior experience in roles such as Customer Service Representative or Customer Care Representative. You demonstrate a strong commitment and independence in your work. You possess excellent German and good English language skills.
