We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Amazon Devices team in Germany. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing our retail strategy in Germany and other EU countries.
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be the external face of Amazon Devices, owning and setting the strategy for how we shape our Devices business in the Offline Retail channel. You will have autonomy to own and build retail partnerships, with sales responsibility for our 4 key product categories: Echo, FireTV, Fire Tablets, and Kindle E-readers.
You will be responsible for managing our German retailers, building relationships with key external retail partners, and setting the sales and marketing strategy to drive growth across our Devices and the wider Smart Home category.
You will define and implement plans to best serve new and existing customers, as well as exceeding financial objectives, that prioritize long-term over short-term gains.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop deep and integrated partnerships to unlock and maximize Amazon Device growth.
You will be a conscientious thinker, with the energy to move at pace. You will be an expert in consumer electronic retail dynamics, trends, and challenges.
We are open to the following office locations: Munich or Berlin.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Amazon Devices retail strategy in Germany and other EU countries.
- Negotiate commercial Terms and Conditions with new and existing customers, seeking win-win solutions for both Amazon and retail partners.
- Develop and execute annual joint business plans with each retailer partner, including marketing and in-store execution strategies.
- Prepare and organize regular business reviews with partners, working on long-term initiatives to bring closer collaboration between Amazon and our partners.
- Coordinate new product launches, including influencing launch timelines based on channel restrictions, and ensuring go-to-market activities are executed flawlessly across all retail partners.
- Present and sell Amazon devices externally to the most senior audiences, with an excellent understanding of product features and retail partner needs.
- Drive continuous improvement in the retail channels by testing new marketing initiatives.
