Job Title: Offtake Business Development Manager for Power-to-X Projects
Job Description:
As an Offtake Business Development Manager for Power-to-X Projects, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of renewable energy.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential offtakers to negotiate and conclude offtake agreements for Power-to-X projects.
Collaborate with the project financing department to develop bankability and financing concepts for these projects.
Build a strong network of offtakers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful development of Power-to-X projects.
Apply for (sovereign/financial) support mechanisms in cooperation with other departments to secure funding for these projects.
Ensure that the logistic framework and conditions are integrated into the offtake contracts as needed.
Organize Enertrag PtX product tenders where necessary to facilitate the development of these projects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest market developments and insights from ENERTRAG projects to inform the negotiation process.
Ensure that offtake perspectives are integrated into project development (logistics, certification, developing financial model inputs, supporting tenders etc.).
Requirements:
University degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Economics and/or related study.
Fluency in written and spoken English, with other relevant languages being a plus.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably including commodity trading and/or developing offtake contracts.
Strong understanding of renewable energy generation, hydrogen production/distribution and derivative production.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and represent the company at networking and policy development events.
Experience with trading in new products/markets and analysis of policy developments.
Understanding of (decision) structures of EU and Germany.
