About the Role:
Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive business expansion and foster sustainable growth in our Global General Industry (GI) Division. Our GI Division operates across various industrial sectors, providing innovative and sustainable nonwoven solutions in energy, automotive, and special industry applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, aligning with our strategic direction in automotive, sustainable mobility, and green energy.
- Prospecting: Develop and maintain a dynamic pipeline of prospects through various channels to ensure a steady flow of potential clients or partners.
- Business Planning: Create comprehensive and targeted business plans, including market entry strategies, growth initiatives, financial projections, and risk assessments.
- Client Management: Oversee client projects with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery, while driving internal initiatives to optimize sales processes and enhance overall sales performance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in business development.
- Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
What We Offer:
We provide hybrid working options, including the ability to work remotely up to 2 days per week. Additionally, you can expect up to 30% travel, both domestically and internationally, to visit operational locations and customers.
