We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide essential support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Assistance: Offer prompt technical support to users through various channels, ensuring swift resolution of IT-related issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating more complex issues to the relevant teams as needed.
  • Incident Management: Record, monitor, and prioritize support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring thorough documentation of all incidents and their resolutions.
  • Password and Access Management: Assist with password resets, account setups, and access management in accordance with company policies.
  • Software Installation and Updates: Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring they meet compatibility and licensing requirements.
  • Hardware Support: Provide support for hardware setup, maintenance, and replacement, including computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Remote Assistance: Offer remote support to off-site employees, guiding them through technical challenges or performing remote troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Knowledge Base Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base, developing documentation and FAQs to help users resolve common issues.
  • Training: Support the training of employees on essential IT procedures and best practices.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all support activities adhere to company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and software applications.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Knowledge Base: Understanding of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and software applications.
  • Proficient in English language structure, composition, and grammar.
  • Understanding of the German language is preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with business management principles, including strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Understanding of engineering science and technology applications.
  • Skills: Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Active listening skills to comprehend and respond effectively to user needs.
  • Ability to understand written documentation related to work.
  • Ability to evaluate costs and benefits of potential actions.
  • Capability to determine system functionality and impacts of changes.
