About the Role

The Sales Development Manager is a key position within the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty team, responsible for driving retail sales and growth in a specific area. This role requires strong leadership and commercial skills, with a focus on delivering sales performance and improving KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Field Sales Manager in driving total retail sales across the defined area, delivering sales performance and driving ongoing KPI improvement.
  • Generate store-level forecasts and targets, and develop performance initiatives to motivate and inspire store teams.
  • Lead and manage a team of Business Managers, ensuring each manager has clear objectives for delivering their store strategy and sales plan.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers in the area, establishing credibility and relationship currency.
  • Drive recruitment across stores and the wider region, including new store openings.
  • Lead initiatives to address engagement needs identified through Peakon, building a culture of inclusion and motivation within the area.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive brand awareness, performance, and market share across the area.
  • Work closely with store management and Field Sales Managers to drive social content, unlock event opportunities, and accelerate skincare's market takeover.
  • Ensure flawless visual merchandising and grooming standards are maintained across the area.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations and other support functions to ensure effective communication with the retail team and timely solutions.
  • Influence and roll out ground-breaking eventing strategies for the area.
  • Deliver 'always-on' theatre on the shop floor, driving brand dial-up and sharing Charlotte's Magic through services, events, activations, and animations.
Education Responsibilities
  • Identify training and development needs, and work with the Training Team to develop a master plan based on training needs across stores.
  • Support Field Sales Managers in delivering online and on-site trainings for Charlotte Tilbury's and Cast Teams.
Effective Cost Optimisation
  • Responsible for retail staffing costs for the defined area, and recommend FTE levels across stores to Field Sales Managers.
  • Responsible for in-store payroll budget for stores, ensuring alignment to cost budget.
  • Timely review and approval of commission submissions.
  • Ensure T&E expenditure is in line with forecast.
