Service Desk Agent Germany

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Agent to join our team at Tektronix in Cologne, Germany. As a member of our Service Solution Organization, you will work closely with various departments to ensure excellent customer service and growth opportunities.
Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries via phone and email, working with partners and customers to resolve issues, and monitoring service order turnaround times. You will also be responsible for managing customer complaints, collaborating with the finance department, and maintaining accurate records.
Key qualifications for this role include a strong understanding of customer service principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A minimum of two years of experience in customer support or a similar field is required, with a focus on tasks such as email and phone management, data entry, and complaint resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work with partners and customers to resolve service-related issues
- Monitor service order turnaround times and communicate status updates to customers
- Manage customer complaints and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in customer support or a similar field
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluent English and German language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic technical knowledge of test and measurement products
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
