Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business in South-West Germany by engaging with researchers, lab managers, and procurement managers to understand their needs and coordinate suitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop business in South-West Germany by engaging with researchers, lab managers, and procurement managers to understand their needs and coordinate suitable solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client concerns and needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to provide effective solutions and enhance processes.
- Strengthen client relationships to establish long-term partnerships and develop contracts.
- Explore up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Define a strategy for acquiring assigned accounts with guidance from the Sales Manager.
- Initiate contacts with relevant stakeholders in assigned accounts and drive the sales process.
- Attend relevant conferences across Europe in collaboration with the European Event Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in biology/biomedical sciences/health sciences or any related degree.
- Fluency in English and German.
- 2/3 years' sales experience is mandatory.
- Soft skills: autonomy, results-orientation, customer focus, perseverance, ability to work with multiple and varied contacts, communication skills, proactivity.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is essential.
