Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic team member to join our gelato shop, The Gelato Fiasco, Inc. as a Gelato Server. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for every customer
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the gelato display cases and surrounding areas
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking gelato and supplies
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in areas such as gelato preparation, customer service, and store operations

Requirements:

  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
