Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gelato Server and Shift Leader to join our team at The Gelato Fiasco, Inc. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing front-of-house operations, and contributing to the success of our flagship store in Brunswick, Maine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, offering gelato samples and recommendations to customers
  • Scoop dishes, cones, and pints of gelato and sorbetto with attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment
  • Assist with setting up and taking down gelato displays
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve store goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
