Role Summary:
We seek a dedicated System Architect with a passion for Automotive Electronics, eager to shape the future of in-cabin user experiences.
As the Principal E/E System Architect, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the comprehensive vehicle E/E system, possessing a broad understanding of all relevant domains. Within our E/E Architecture Lab, you will lead the examination of E/E architecture trends and technologies across international markets, key clients, and suppliers. Collaborating with fellow architects, you will conceptualize future vehicle E/E architecture and product designs. Your focus will also include the in-cabin experience, working alongside product lines and system integration teams to create a cohesive user experience integrated into the HARMAN AutoOne product engineering vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the subject matter expert for full vehicle E/E architecture, analyzing emerging architecture trends and formulating technology roadmaps and product concepts. Serve as the system architect for in-cabin experiences, including the integration of sensors and actuators. Collaborate with product line experts, clients, and suppliers to analyze, identify, and establish industry benchmark E/E architecture design principles and best practices. Innovate E/E and in-cabin architecture for the HARMAN AutoOne reference vehicle in close partnership with product line architects and E/E Architecture Lab domain experts. Support analysis of technology partnerships and mergers & acquisitions.Qualifications Required
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Automotive system architecture and in-cabin experience. Profound expertise across all E/E architecture domains and their interconnections, including vehicle-level system partitioning, function allocations, and system integration. Proven technical leadership abilities and the capacity to inspire and motivate teams. Strong understanding of Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) standards. Experience with model-based architecture, SysML, and relevant tools. Comprehensive knowledge of Automotive video links, displays, AR-HUDs, cockpit domain controllers, and central computing units. Proven track record in project execution, product innovation, and a solid grasp of product management, along with hands-on experience in vehicle-level system integration.What We Provide
