Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Principal E/E Software Architect with a strong passion for Automotive Electronics, particularly in enhancing in-cabin user experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete vehicle E/E software architecture and collaborating with various stakeholders to shape the future of automotive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for full vehicle E/E software architecture, analyzing emerging trends and developing strategic technology roadmaps.
- Act as the Software Architect specifically for the Audio domain, ensuring integration and innovation.
- Collaborate with product line experts, customers, and suppliers to establish industry-leading E/E software architecture design principles.
- Innovate E/E and Audio domain software architecture for the HARMAN AutoOne reference vehicle, working closely with product line architects.
- Conduct analysis for technology partnerships and mergers & acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Automotive software architecture with a focus on Audio.
- Comprehensive knowledge of E/E software architecture domains and their interactions, including system partitioning and integration.
- Proven technical leadership abilities with a knack for motivating teams.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) standards.
- Proficient in UML and relevant tools.
- Experience with operating systems such as Android, Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR.
- Understanding of Automotive service-oriented architectures (SoA) like SOME/IP and DDS.
- In-depth knowledge of Automotive audio systems, including interfaces, amplification, and sound processing.
- Hands-on experience in vehicle-level System Integration and automotive production software development, with strong programming skills in C/C++.
