Your Role at NTT DATA

The primary aim of this position is to oversee a team of Services Sales Directors, driving the execution of sales strategies and achieving operational targets and profit margins for the Managed Services (MS) product line. This role combines executive leadership, coaching, and management responsibilities, aimed at empowering the MS division to meet its strategic goals.

You will direct a significant portion of the organization’s sales initiatives, which may encompass specific channels, product lines, major accounts, or geographical regions. The scope of this role may be global or confined to a particular area. You may also formulate sales strategies and volume forecasts for a substantial segment of the sales function. Typically, this role includes oversight of worldwide channel sales and global accounts for a major product or service line.

This position can be fulfilled from any of our European offices.

Responsibilities

Key Duties:

Foster a culture of success and continuous achievement of business objectives. Assess market and client requirements related to Managed Services in the region, aligned with global priorities. Establish an effective sales force structure and manage budget allocations. Propel the regional development and implementation of the Group Services Product and Managed Services portfolio vision. Enhance regional alignment with global services, standards, and service architectures. Serve as the liaison between regional GTM Sales Directors, Client Partners, and Product Development teams. Lead a team of sales directors accountable for meeting MS sales targets. Oversee MS profit and loss, including revenue, operating profit, and related TCV GP of MS bookings. Cultivate key customer relationships and engage in closing strategic deals. Organize and prioritize multiple work outputs, continuously reviewing objectives and goals. Develop aggressive account strategies for MS accounts and identify revenue generation opportunities. Formulate and execute the sales strategy by influencing people, processes, and technology.

Skills and Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of industry verticals and Managed Services solutions. Strong management and leadership capabilities with strategic thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Significant financial acumen, capable of conducting cost-benefit analyses and managing team budgets. Proficient in business negotiation, conflict resolution, and political savvy. Exceptional presentation skills, innovative thinking, and client-oriented approach. Resourceful and able to handle pressure in critical situations while meeting client needs. Familiarity with service industry models, process improvements, and Managed Services offerings. Good understanding of core Managed Service Portfolio artifacts and deliverables. Ability to empathize with customer perspectives and service expectations. Results-driven, ambitious, and high-achieving. Innovative, capable of generating original solutions and ideas. Decisive and comfortable making prompt decisions.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree with substantial experience; or a postgraduate degree with significant leadership experience. Certification and working knowledge of ITIL, Service Management, and Integration. Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP).

Experience Required:

Extensive experience in Managed Services deliverables and value propositions. Experience coordinating sales teams within a similar industry focused on Managed Services. Strong understanding of IT Service Management and operations. Significant client engagement and consulting experience, with expertise in needs assessment and change management. Comprehensive experience in relevant services and products, along with industry best practices. Extensive sales and client engagement experience. Strong vendor relationship management skills to understand product positioning. Familiarity with SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodologies. Business development and pre-sales experience. Deep technical background. Thorough understanding of the IT industry landscape and business needs, combined with strong sales methodologies. Extensive experience in people and resource management.
