Your role at NTT DATA
The main goal of this position is to oversee a team of Services Sales Directors, driving the execution of sales strategies and achieving operational targets and profit margins for the Managed Services (MS) product line. This role encompasses executive management, coaching, and leadership, aimed at empowering the MS function to fulfill its strategic objectives and ambitions.You will direct significant segments of the organization’s sales efforts, whether it be a specific channel, product line, major accounts, or geographical region. The scope of this role may extend globally or be confined to a particular area. You may also formulate sales strategies and forecast sales volumes for a substantial portion of the sales function. Typically, this role involves oversight of Director-level reports and management of worldwide channel sales and global accounts for a key product or service line.
This position can be executed from any of our European offices.
Responsibilities
Key Duties:
Foster a culture of success and continuous achievement of business goals. Analyze market and client requirements concerning MS in the region or country, aligned with global priorities. Establish an effective sales force structure and manage budget allocations. Propel the regional development and implementation of the Group Services Product and Managed Services portfolio vision. Enhance the region's alignment with global services, standards, and service architectures. Serve as the liaison between regional GTM Sales Directors, Client Partners, and Product Development teams. Lead a team of sales directors accountable for meeting MS Sales targets. Oversee MS profit and loss, including revenue, operating profit, and related TCV GP of MS bookings. Cultivate key customer relationships and engage in closing strategic opportunities. Organize and prioritize multiple work outputs while continuously reviewing objectives. Develop aggressive account strategies for MS accounts and support revenue generation initiatives. Shape and ensure the execution of the sales strategy by influencing people, processes, and technology.Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of industry verticals and MS solutions. Strong management and leadership capabilities with strategic thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders. Proficient in business financial management, including cost-benefit analysis. Advanced negotiation skills and adept at conflict resolution. Exceptional presentation skills with a client-oriented approach. Resourceful and able to manage pressure in critical situations. Familiarity with service delivery models and process improvements. Comprehensive understanding of Managed Service Portfolio offers and techniques. Ability to empathize with customer perspectives and service needs. High-achieving, ambitious, and results-driven. Innovative thinker with a knack for generating original solutions. Decisive and capable of making prompt decisions.Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree with substantial experience or a postgraduate degree with significant leadership experience. Certifications in ITIL, Service Management, and Integration. Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP).Experience Required:
Extensive experience in Managed Services within a product marketing context. Proven track record in coordinating sales teams in a similar industry. Strong understanding of IT Service Management and operations. Significant client engagement and consulting experience. In-depth knowledge of relevant services and industry best practices. Extensive experience in sales and client engagement. Proven vendor relationship management experience. Familiarity with SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodologies. Business development and pre-sales experience.
