About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Seat Development Manager to spearhead the development of complete seats for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the automotive industry, with a deep understanding of seat design, development, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of front seat development projects from concept to production.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of seat development, including design, engineering, testing, and validation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (interior design, vehicle engineering, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure project success.
  • Drive innovation and cost reduction initiatives within the seat development process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, or related field).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in complete seat development.
  • Proven track record in leading complex seat development projects.
  • Deep knowledge of seat components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in German (essential).
