Responsibilities that will advance your career:

Are you passionate about Business Continuity Management (BCM), IT Supply Chain Management (IT-SCM), and Crisis Management? Do you have the drive to make the world a safer place? In emergencies, do you maintain composure and influence all parties involved with your goal-oriented approach? As a Business Continuity Manager (BCM) in the IT Governance sector, you will primarily focus on the resilience and continuity of REWE digital, while also collaborating closely with the BCM and crisis management teams of the REWE Group. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, operating, and monitoring a Business / IT-Service Continuity Management System (BCMS / IT-SCM), including the development and leadership of the BCM and crisis organization within REWE digital.
  • Assisting in the organizational and technical fulfillment of regulatory requirements focusing on BCM / IT-SCM (e.g., KRITIS, NIS 2, industry standards).
  • Developing and maintaining guidelines, concepts, policies, and procedures related to BCM.
  • Supporting departments in conducting Business Impact Analyses and deriving Business Continuity Plans.
  • Coordinating and conducting awareness and training measures.
  • Assisting in emergency response, coordinating emergency and crisis teams, and supporting the planning and execution of potential audits by internal or external reviewers.

  • You hold a degree or a comparable qualification with a focus on (Business) Informatics, Business/ IT-Service Continuity Management, or Crisis Management.
  • You have extensive experience in establishing and operating Business Continuity Management, including planning and executing emergency and crisis tests.
  • You are well-versed in common BCM standards (e.g., ISO 22301, 27031, IT-Grundschutz 100/200-4, GPG of the Business Continuity Institute) and can quickly familiarize yourself with new standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You excel in analysis and problem-solving, and you are decisive and reliable.
  • Your persuasiveness and negotiation skills, along with a high level of resilience, complete your profile.
  • Lastly, you possess very good German and good English skills.
