Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated researcher to advance the field of quantum control theory, focusing on scalable semiconductor architectures. This role involves a blend of theoretical modeling and practical implementation aimed at enhancing quantum computing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative methodologies to simulate and manage complex quantum dynamics.
  • Optimize quantum operations and routing within a scalable semiconductor framework, ensuring efficient circuit compilation.
  • Collaborate closely with experimental teams to facilitate the development of quantum processors utilizing this advanced technology.
  • Design and apply sophisticated optimization strategies for real-time use in quantum dot experiments.
  • Analyze and characterize significant sources of environmental and coherent errors linked to material properties and spin-charge interactions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s degree in physics or a related discipline.
  • Strong foundation and keen interest in theoretical modeling and numerical optimization techniques.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration with experimental physicists.
  • In-depth knowledge of quantum physics and hands-on experience with quantum technologies.
  • Solid mathematical background, particularly in linear algebra.
  • Proficient programming skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken English.
  • Capability to work independently while maintaining effective teamwork.
  • A genuine passion for exploring new ideas and uncharted research areas.
