Position: Research Assistant in Graph Partitioning

We are seeking a motivated individual to engage in innovative research focused on graph partitioning methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating traditional partitioning techniques, particularly spectral approaches that utilize Network Modularity.
  • Exploring practical applications of graph partitioning within studies related to power systems.
  • Creating novel or modifying existing QUBO formulations tailored for graph partitioning goals.
  • Assessing the performance of classical algorithms against Quantum Optimization approaches.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a master's program at a recognized university.
  • Solid foundation in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or mathematics.
  • Strong programming capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Graph Theory, Network Science, Power Systems, and Linear Algebra.
