Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to engage in groundbreaking research focused on quantum control theory applicable to scalable semiconductor quantum computing architectures. This role involves a blend of theoretical modeling and practical implementation, aimed at advancing the field of quantum technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and refine methodologies to simulate and manage the dynamics of increasingly complex quantum systems.
  • Execute and enhance quantum operations and routing on a scalable semiconductor architecture, ensuring effective circuit compilation.
  • Collaborate closely with experimental teams developing quantum processors based on this innovative technology.
  • Design and apply sophisticated optimization strategies for direct use in quantum dot experimental setups.
  • Analyze and characterize significant sources of environmental and coherent errors arising from material characteristics and spin-charge interactions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of a Master’s degree in physics or a related discipline.
  • Strong foundation and enthusiasm for developing theoretical frameworks and numerical optimization techniques.
  • Interest in close collaboration with experimental researchers.
  • In-depth knowledge of quantum physics and hands-on experience with quantum technologies.
  • Solid mathematical background, particularly in linear algebra.
  • Proficient programming skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities in both written and spoken English.
  • Capacity to work independently while maintaining close interactions within a team environment.
  • A genuine passion for exploring new frontiers and pursuing innovative ideas.
