Postdoctoral Researcher in Scalable Quantum Systems Development

Your Role:

This position is centered on the development, operation, and characterization of superconducting quantum devices. Your responsibilities include:

Innovating new methods for experimentation, fabrication, and characterization
Creating gate implementations, benchmarking, and algorithms
Addressing interdisciplinary challenges in systems engineering
Installing and enhancing experimental setups and fabrication tools
Supervising and mentoring Master and PhD students
Actively participating in project meetings and events
Presenting and publishing research findings on an international platform

Your Qualifications:

Master or PhD in physics or a related field, with a focus on experimental quantum information
Strong understanding of solid state physics and/or quantum information
Experience in microfabrication and/or operating and calibrating quantum systems
Proficiency in hardware interfacing programming using Python
Team-oriented and highly motivated to work in an experimental laboratory
Preferred qualifications include a background in quantum computing and experience with cryogenics, signal delivery, materials optimization, and microwave control
