About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Commercial Manager to lead our growth strategy in the DACH regions, where we have a strong presence and existing commercial relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and executing commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for all products across the DACH regions, focusing on rail and bus travel.
  • Build and nurture a portfolio of high-value commercial partnerships with travel partners, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead the negotiation of global, regional, and local commercial agreements related to the DACH region, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive revenue growth and optimize commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Berlin, London, and Prague to define and scale our product, customer strategy, marketing, and partnerships in these markets.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in the DACH region, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded.
  • Represent Omio at a senior level across the region, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a leading commercial role within the tech or travel industries, with a passion for travel.
  • Experience in B2C products in an e-commerce environment is essential.
  • Proven track record of delivering success through leading cross-functional teams and building fast-growth businesses in a scalable way.
  • Experience structuring large commercial deals and building sustainable strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, results-oriented, and radically customer-centric, with persistence and reliability in execution.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, tolerance for ambiguity, and enthusiasm to contribute to building a great company.
  • Fluent in English and German, with other European languages a plus.
