The Project
We are seeking a Senior Cost and Commercial Manager to join our German region team. As a key member of our team, you will provide full-cycle cost management services for ongoing commissions throughout the country. Our agile working policy allows for flexible working arrangements, with the option to work primarily from home and visit client offices/projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cost planning, budgeting, and estimating services for pharmaceutical and life sciences projects
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with contractual frameworks
- Advise on contract administration and value engineering
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cost consultancy practice, with a strong background in pharmaceutical and life sciences
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, with experience in contract administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in German (desirable)
