Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire strategic purchasing process from sourcing to contract for a designated business unit
  • Develop and implement commodity group strategies in collaboration with the business unit
  • Identify, assess, and cultivate supplier relationships in partnership with various departments
  • Enhance supplier management practices and lead risk management initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Management Team to foster supplier development, managing relationships sustainably in a competitive market
  • Conduct negotiations regarding pricing and contracts with suppliers
  • Manage national and international special projects and purchasing tasks on a global scale

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in business or a technical field
  • Initial professional experience in purchasing drawing parts and/or catalog items, with a desire for further growth
  • Proficient in managing single sourcing suppliers and maintaining sustainable relationships
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, decisiveness, and analytical thinking
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed
  • Proficiency in English and German is essential
