Support the Voith Group | Paper Division as

A strategic procurement assistant will support the global procurement team in various tasks, including data analysis, process optimization, and vendor management.

Your Tasks

  • Support the global procurement team in various tasks, including data analysis, process optimization, and vendor management.
  • Gain insights into the daily business of strategic procurement, including vendor meetings, requests, negotiations, material group strategies, and data maintenance.
  • Support the analysis and preparation of data from SAP and other systems.
  • Participate in the optimization and description of methods and processes.
  • Develop and optimize existing templates, checklists, and procurement tools independently.
  • Contribute to project work, such as preparing and accompanying vendor days, vendor reduction, and other initiatives.

Your Profile

  • You are a registered student in the fields of engineering, business engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
  • You have an interest in strategic procurement or material group management and possess technical knowledge.
  • You are familiar with IT systems and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You have excellent German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • You are analytical, self-motivated, and have a structured way of thinking and acting, as well as a hands-on mentality, team skills, initiative, and reliability.
