Job Summary

We are looking for a Strategic Purchaser to lead our global sourcing efforts, develop commodity group strategies, and implement them in cooperation with our business units. The ideal candidate will have a business or technical degree, first professional experience in purchasing, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for one of our business units
  • Conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Manage national and international special projects and tasks in purchasing worldwide
  • Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers together with other departments
  • Optimize supplier management and be responsible for risk management
  • Develop our suppliers in cooperation with the Supplier Quality Management Team

Requirements

  • Business or technical degree
  • First professional experience in purchasing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • Willingness to occasionally travel worldwide
