Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete strategic purchasing process from sourcing to contract management for a designated business unit
  • Formulate and execute commodity group strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and nurture supplier relationships alongside cross-functional teams
  • Enhance supplier management practices and lead risk management initiatives
  • Work closely with the Supplier Quality Management Team to develop suppliers sustainably in a competitive market
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers
  • Manage national and international special projects and procurement tasks globally

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess a degree in business or a technical field
  • Have initial professional experience in purchasing components or catalog items, with a desire for further growth
  • Skilled in managing single-source suppliers and fostering sustainable relationships
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, teamwork, decisiveness, and analytical capabilities
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
