Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire strategic purchasing process from sourcing to contract management for designated business units.
  • Formulate and execute commodity group strategies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Identify, assess, and cultivate supplier relationships in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Enhance supplier management practices and lead risk management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Management Team to develop suppliers sustainably in a competitive market.
  • Conduct negotiations regarding pricing and contractual agreements with suppliers.
  • Manage national and international projects and initiatives in the procurement domain.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in business or a technical field is required.
  • Initial professional experience in purchasing components or catalog items is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with single sourcing suppliers effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally, with a focus on teamwork, decisiveness, and analytical thinking.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Proficiency in English and German is essential.
