Position Overview: We are seeking a Sales Manager Cybersecurity for South Germany and Switzerland (f/m/x) to bolster our Power Utility Communication team. This role involves strategic sales initiatives and acquiring new clients within the expanding domain of power system cybersecurity. You will serve as the primary liaison for decision-makers focused on establishing a secure infrastructure in major utility companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development of the cybersecurity business within the designated sales territory.
- Oversee regional sales efforts for our cybersecurity product portfolio, particularly StationGuard.
- Create a strategic sales plan, identifying key clients, actions, and tactics to meet objectives.
- Analyze regional trends, customer demands, and competitive landscape, providing insights for product development.
- Act as the main contact for security-related inquiries in the territory, assisting clients in finding suitable solutions.
- Identify, cultivate, and assess channel partners within your region.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations in collaboration with application engineers.
- Generate and support project business opportunities and tenders.
Qualifications:
- A degree or training in computer science or electrical engineering, with several years of experience in IT or cybersecurity sales.
- Experience or training in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and excellent technical sales and presentation skills.
- Experience in the electric utility sector, particularly in German-speaking regions.
- Fluency in English and German is essential.
- A proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
- Willingness to travel within Germany, Switzerland, and to our office in Western Austria (up to 40% travel).
