We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supplier Development Manager to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. As a key member of our global supply chain team, you will be responsible for leading supplier development programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement supplier development strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement lean management initiatives and quality management systems.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to suppliers on quality methods and manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through data analysis and benchmarking.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and quality issues.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, or Medical Engineering.
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier development and lean management.
- Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments.
- Strong knowledge of risk analysis techniques and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
