Job Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Lean Management Initiatives with suppliers to drive sustainable improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement programs for suppliers' manufacturing processes, focusing on zero defects.
  • Support the Supplier Selection Process and Supplier/Parts Qualification to Production.
  • Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions for major non-Conformities in products and services at suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance KPIs, analyze manufacturing processes, quality records, complaints, and other data sources to establish improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D to ensure continuous improvement of products, services, and processes.
  • Perform supplier manufacturing process audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure implementation of improvement actions.
  • Provide technical supplier evaluations for supplier selection and category management initiatives.
  • Offer technical guidance and expertise internally and to suppliers on manufacturing processes, methods, techniques, and capabilities.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, or Medical Engineering.
  • Six Sigma certification at least Green Belt.
  • Several years of experience in leading supplier development programs.
  • Experience in Lean Management and Quality Management.
  • Proven experience in performing supplier audits.
  • Good knowledge of risk analysis techniques (DFMEA, PFMEA).
  • Proven methods of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Autonomy, negotiation skills, and ability to create and communicate a clear strategy/plan.
