About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Development Manager to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for leading supplier development programs to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead Lean Management Initiatives with suppliers to achieve sustainable improvements and cost savings.
  • Lead continuous improvement programs for suppliers' manufacturing processes, focusing on zero defects.
  • Support supplier selection and qualification processes.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities at suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance KPIs and analyze manufacturing processes, quality records, and complaints.
  • Establish initiatives at suppliers to ensure improvements are implemented.
  • Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform supplier manufacturing process audits to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide technical evaluations for supplier selection and sourcing strategy initiatives.
  • Offer technical guidance and expertise to suppliers on manufacturing processes, methods, and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, or Medical Engineering.
  • Six Sigma certification at least Green Belt.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading supplier development programs.
  • Experience in Lean Management and Quality Management.
  • Proven experience in performing supplier audits.
  • Knowledge of risk analysis techniques and APQP/PPAP methods.
  • Autonomy, negotiation skills, and ability to take decisions in difficult situations.
