Tax Process Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Process Manager to join our team at tonies - Boxine GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating tax processes across the entire group.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Global Tax Lead in steering the optimization, automation, and digitalization of tax processes and tax accounting & reporting.
- Drive the implementation of fully digitalized processes using our ERP system and available tools and technology.
- Understand the business in detail and identify stakeholders to establish digitized processes.
- Implement templates and controls across tax-relevant workstreams to roll out to the entire group.
- Support and enable teams in tax documentation/compliance and reporting obligations.
- Maintain and improve the Tax Compliance Management System through measures, controls, and process optimization.
- Develop and implement standards in contract templates, clauses, and tax technical terms.
- Manage large projects end-to-end, prioritizing and optimizing processes for efficiency.
- Set up for growth by identifying future tax processes and ensuring company-wide understanding.
- Provide consultation to data teams on IT-based solutions for the tax department.
- Commercial, IT, and/or tax background with a great understanding of processes, structures, and technology.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance/tax departments of international companies or international consultancies.
- Well-versed in German or foreign tax law and eager to develop tax technical skills.
- Strong communication skills, especially with non-tax colleagues, and determination in implementing processes.
- Excellent self-organization, high commitment, and healthy approach to change and challenges.
- Solution-focused with ownership and a collaborative environment.
- Confident in dealing with MS Navision (our ERP system).
- Fluent in English; German or other languages welcome.
