International Tax Manager

Signode, a leading global manufacturer of packaging solutions, is seeking a highly skilled International Tax Manager to join its European Tax Department. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and optimizing tax strategies to support its growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance for current and deferred taxes, including review of international tax reporting.
- Manage and assist in tax return preparation, filing, and validation of tax assessments, audits, and appeals.
- Oversee local tax advisors, handle tax filings, and manage tax payments, including withholding tax exemptions and DAC 6.
- Provide tax accounting training and serve as an in-house advisor for subsidiaries.
- Manage and document transfer pricing reports, support audits, and oversee related projects.
- Develop and implement tax strategies, identify planning opportunities, and limit tax exposure.
- Collaborate with business teams, engage with business leaders, and develop best practices.
- Proactively address tax-related issues, adapt to changing priorities, and support tax audits in Europe.
- Education in Business, Tax, or Finance (specific tax qualifications a plus).
- Strong experience in tax accounting and compliance, ideally internationally.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems like DATEV, AX, and tax filing systems.
- Proficient in English and German, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Independent, efficient, flexible, proactive attitude, and willingness to travel as needed.
