We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Process Manager to join our team at tonies - Boxine GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing, automating, and digitalizing tax processes across the entire group.
Key Responsibilities- Steer the optimization and automation of tax processes, including tax accounting and reporting, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Drive the implementation of fully digitalized processes using our ERP system and available tools and technology.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain digitized processes, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement templates and controls across all tax-relevant workstreams to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support and enable teams in fulfilling tax documentation, compliance, and reporting obligations.
- Maintain and improve the Tax Compliance Management System through process optimization and control implementation.
- Develop and implement standards in contract templates, standard clauses, and tax technical terms and provisions.
- Manage large projects end-to-end, prioritizing and optimizing processes to improve efficiency.
- Identify and implement tax processes needed for future growth, ensuring a company-wide understanding of required processes.
- Provide consultation to data teams on the design, development, and implementation of IT-based solutions for the tax department.
- Commercial, IT, and/or tax background with a strong understanding of processes, structures, and technology.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance/tax departments of international companies or international consultancies.
- Strong knowledge of German or foreign tax law, with a Tax Advisor qualification a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with colleagues without a tax background, and determination in implementing processes across teams.
- Strong self-organization, high commitment, and a healthy approach to change and challenges.
- Solution-focused with ownership over actions and a collaborative environment.
- Confident in dealing with MS Navision (our ERP system).
- Fluency in English, with German or other languages welcome.
