Tax Process Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Process Manager to join our team at tonies - Boxine GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in steering the optimization, automation, and digitalization of tax processes across the entire group.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the Global Tax Lead to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- ERP Implementation: Drive the implementation of fully digitalized processes using our ERP system, as well as available tools and technology, to streamline tax accounting and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Understand the business in detail and identify stakeholders who need to be involved to establish digitized processes and bring them to life.
- Template Development: Implement templates and controls across all tax-relevant workstreams to roll out to the entire group.
- Team Support: Support and enable all relevant teams in the fulfillment of tax documentation/compliance and reporting obligations.
- Process Maintenance: Maintain and further improve the Tax Compliance Management System through identification of measures, implementation of controls, and continuous optimization of processes.
- Standard Development: Develop and implement standards in contract templates, standard clauses, and other consistent tax technical terms and provisions.
- Project Management: Manage large projects end-to-end, including prioritizing and process optimization to improve efficiency.
- Future-Proofing: Identify tax processes that will be needed in the future as the company grows and ensure a company-wide understanding of needed processes.
- Consultation: Provide consultation to data teams on the design, development, and implementation of IT-based solutions for the tax department.
- Commercial, IT, and/or Tax Background: You have a commercial, IT, and/or tax background with a great understanding of processes, structures, and technology.
- Professional Experience: You have gained at least 5 years of professional experience in the finance/tax department of an international company or same field in an international consultancy.
- Tax Knowledge: You are well-versed in the norms of German or foreign tax law and are eager to further develop your tax technical skill set in that area – a Tax advisor qualification would be a plus.
- Communication Skills: You possess strong communication skills, especially with colleagues who do not have a tax background, and determination in implementing processes across different teams.
- Self-Organization: Your style of work is shaped by excellent self-organization, a high level of commitment, and a healthy approach to change and challenges.
- Solution-Focused: You are a solution-focused person, taking ownership over your actions and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Technical Skills: You are confident in dealing with MS Navision (our ERP System).
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English; German or other languages are very welcome.
