Tax Process Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Process Manager to join our team at tonies - Boxine GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and digitalizing our tax processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities- Steer the optimization, automation, and digitalization of tax processes, including tax accounting and reporting for the entire group.
- Drive the implementation of fully digitalized processes using our ERP system and available tools and technology.
- Understand the business in detail and identify stakeholders needed to establish digitized processes.
- Implement templates and controls across all tax-relevant workstreams to roll out to the entire group.
- Support and enable relevant teams in fulfilling tax documentation, compliance, and reporting obligations.
- Maintain and further improve the Tax Compliance Management System through identification of measures, implementation of controls, and continuous optimization of processes.
- Develop and implement standards in contract templates, standard clauses, and other consistent tax technical terms and provisions.
- Manage large projects end-to-end, including prioritizing and process optimization to improve efficiency.
- Set up for growth by identifying tax processes needed in the future and ensuring a company-wide understanding of needed processes.
- Provide consultation to data teams on the design, development, and implementation of IT-based solutions for the tax department.
- Commercial, IT, and/or tax background with a great understanding of processes, structures, and technology.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the finance/tax department of an international company or same field in an international consultancy.
- Well-versed in the norms of German or foreign tax law and eager to further develop tax technical skills in that area.
- Strong communication skills, especially with colleagues without a tax background, and determination in implementing processes across different teams.
- Excellent self-organization, high level of commitment, and healthy approach to change and challenges.
- Solution-focused person, taking ownership over actions and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Confident in dealing with MS Navision (our ERP system).
- Fluent in English; German or other languages are very welcome.
