About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team at Careforce. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Key Account Managers to achieve national and individual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and manage a team of Key Account Managers to achieve sales targets and provide coaching and guidance to individual team members.
  • Außendienstbesuche: Conduct regular visits to customers and work closely with the assigned Key Account Manager to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Director, Business Operations Team, and Sales Incentive Compensation Team to develop and monitor key performance indicators for the sales team.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication and coordination with Medical and Marketing teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth and increase market share in specific regions through targeted and detailed customer planning.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to the Sales Director and Country Management.
  • Event Planning: Collaborate with the Sales Director, Brand Management, and Business Operations Team to plan and execute sales events, conferences, and sponsorships.
  • CRM System: Promote the use and optimal utilization of the CRM system to build high-quality data, create robust KPIs, and accurate forecasts in collaboration with Business Operations and the CRM & Field Force Technology Lead.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a qualification in accordance with § 75 Arzneimittelgesetz, preferably through a natural sciences university degree.
  • Experience: Possess more than 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry with experience in Key Account Management, previous leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, including team coaching and creating an environment where team members are motivated to perform at their best.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with decision-makers.
