Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Reporting & Strategy Formulation: Oversee the sustainability reporting framework and ensure compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Facilitate the ongoing enhancement and execution of the sustainability strategy across the organization.
  • Development of Sustainability Metrics: Create, implement, and monitor essential sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Acquire expertise in specific product categories and relevant legislation. Remain informed about regulatory changes and funding opportunities to provide actionable insights.
  • Market & Stakeholder Insights: Perform thorough analyses of the market, competition, and stakeholders in sustainability to guide strategic initiatives.
  • Communication & Engagement: Assist in internal and external sustainability communication efforts. Innovate and implement new communication strategies that resonate with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on economics or technical disciplines (e.g., environmental science, resource management, or sustainability studies).
  • Professional Experience: Initial experience in corporate sustainability practices.
  • Advanced Sustainability Training: Specialized education in sustainability, ideally in environmental sectors and sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Legislation: Comprehensive understanding of sustainability-related laws and regulations.
  • Persuasive Communication Skills: Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, merging compliance with business acumen.
  • Analytical & Communication Proficiency: Strong analytical and communication abilities, adept at articulating complex sustainability concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
