International Product Development Manager (f/m/d)

Position Overview:
As an International Product Development Manager (f/m/d), you will report directly to the Vice President of Global Product Management. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing product management within our Risk Prevention Business Division, with a specific focus on surgical products on a global scale. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and enhancing our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in formulating the product strategy to achieve our growth objectives.
  • Drive the product development pipeline by aligning with customer needs and our value proposition related to hospital-acquired infection (HAI) prevention.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, developments, and competitor activities to effectively influence the development and positioning of the assigned product range.
  • Manage the Product Lifecycle for your area of responsibility, from ideation and launch to phase-out.
  • Define product positioning and claims, ensuring they are supported by appropriate evidence.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation in technical files.
  • Lead and collaborate on projects in accordance with PAUL HARTMANN AG standards.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a background in scientific or business-related studies or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience. Ideal candidates will have:
  • Global experience in similar roles, with a preference for experience in tender-driven markets.
  • Experience in the Medical Device industry, particularly with products utilized in surgical environments.
  • A strong market and customer orientation, along with proven project management capabilities.
  • A solution-oriented, creative, and pragmatic approach.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German or another EU language is highly valued.
