Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Reporting & Strategic Planning: Oversee the sustainability reporting framework and ensure compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Facilitate the ongoing enhancement and execution of the sustainability strategy across the organization.
  • Development of Sustainability Metrics: Create, implement, and monitor essential sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and impact.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge in relevant product categories and stay informed about applicable legislation. Monitor regulatory changes and funding opportunities to provide actionable insights.
  • Market & Stakeholder Insights: Perform thorough analyses of market trends, competitive landscape, and stakeholder perspectives in sustainability to guide strategic initiatives.
  • Communication & Engagement: Assist in both internal and external sustainability communication efforts. Design and implement innovative communication strategies that resonate with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent qualification, with a focus on economics or technical disciplines (e.g., environmental management, resource management, or sustainability studies).
  • Professional Experience: Initial experience in corporate sustainability practices.
  • Advanced Education in Sustainability: Further education in sustainability, particularly in environmental sectors and sustainability reporting.
  • Knowledge of Legislation: Strong understanding of sustainability-related laws and regulations.
  • Persuasive Communication Skills: Ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels, integrating compliance with business objectives.
  • Analytical & Communication Proficiency: Exceptional analytical and communication abilities, capable of articulating complex sustainability issues in a clear and convincing manner.
