Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Reporting & Strategy Development: Oversee the sustainability reporting framework and ensure compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Assist in the ongoing enhancement and execution of the sustainability strategy across the organization.
  • Sustainability KPIs: Design, implement, and monitor essential sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive improvements.
  • Legislative Expertise: Acquire in-depth knowledge in specific product categories and stay informed about relevant legislation. Monitor regulatory changes and funding opportunities to provide actionable insights.
  • Market & Stakeholder Analysis: Perform thorough analyses of the market, competition, and stakeholders in sustainability to guide strategic planning.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate internal and external communication efforts related to sustainability. Create and implement innovative communication strategies that resonate with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on economics or technical disciplines (e.g., environmental science, resource management, or sustainability studies).
  • Work Experience: Initial experience in corporate sustainability initiatives.
  • Advanced Sustainability Education: Further education in sustainability, ideally with a focus on environmental aspects and sustainability reporting.
  • Legislative Know-How: Comprehensive understanding of sustainability-related laws and regulations.
  • Influencing Skills: Proven ability to influence organizational decisions at all levels, integrating compliance with business objectives.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication abilities, adept at articulating complex sustainability concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
