Sustainability Strategy Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Reporting & Strategy Development: Oversee the sustainability reporting framework and ensure compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Facilitate the ongoing enhancement and execution of the sustainability strategy across the organization.
  • Sustainability KPIs: Design, implement, and monitor essential sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive improvements.
  • Legislative Expertise: Acquire in-depth knowledge in specific product categories and relevant legislation. Remain informed about regulatory changes and funding opportunities to provide actionable insights.
  • Market & Stakeholder Analysis: Perform thorough analyses of the market, competition, and stakeholders within the sustainability sector to guide strategic planning.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in internal and external sustainability communication efforts. Create and promote innovative communication strategies tailored to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on economics or technical disciplines (e.g., environmental management, resource management, or sustainability studies).
  • Work Experience: Initial experience in corporate sustainability initiatives.
  • Advanced Sustainability Education: Further education in sustainability, ideally in environmental sectors and sustainability reporting.
  • Legislative Know-How: Strong understanding of sustainability-related regulations.
  • Influencing Skills: Proven ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, integrating compliance with business objectives.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical and communication abilities, capable of articulating complex sustainability concepts in a clear and convincing manner.
