About the Role

Okta, Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive revenue growth in the Germany market. As a key member of our Enterprise Sales Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to generate pipeline, drive sales opportunities, and deliver repeatable and predictable bookings with enterprise clients in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to generate pipeline, drive sales opportunities, and deliver repeatable and predictable bookings with enterprise clients in Germany (4k to 20k employees);
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets;
  • Embrace Okta's core values, including a passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction;
  • Generate new business with the world's largest organizations;
  • Position Okta at both the functional and business value level with target stakeholders;
  • Champion Okta to prospective clients at sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations;
  • Build effective working partnerships with Okta colleagues, including channel partners, sales engineering, business value management, and customer success teams.

Requirements

  • Passion for technology and its ability to help organizations compete and thrive in the digital age;
  • Experience selling software-as-a-service and/or cloud computing services to the largest and most complex organizations in the DACH region;
  • Track record of success in value-based selling at senior/C-level;
  • Reputation as a trusted business partner for peers in the local reseller and system integrator community;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Willingness to travel across Germany as required;
  • Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology;
  • Fluency in German and English (both languages essential).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of and experience with identity and access management, single sign-on, and API-based solutions;
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
