Job Summary

FM Global is seeking an experienced Account Manager, Client Service to join our team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our account team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, driving business growth, and leading a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a profitable book of business by leveraging sales techniques, client relationships, risk assessments, and sound underwriting principles.
  • Drive premium growth by retaining existing clients, selling additional product lines, and establishing equitable terms and conditions on new accounts.
  • Provide professional advice and consultation to clients on insurance coverages and risk management matters.
  • Collaborate with Account Engineers to establish risk improvement priorities and support efforts to obtain client compliance with loss prevention recommendations.
  • Protect FM Global's assets through creative use of company underwriting programs and adherence to published guidelines.
  • Collect outstanding premium balances in a timely manner to meet Operation's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the overall FM Global account team, ensuring effective implementation of the Account Business Plan.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in servicing/underwriting large property accounts of varying occupancies.
  • Working knowledge of property insurance and policies, financial statements, general loss prevention engineering terms and concepts, as well as business computer applications.
  • Demonstrated above-average ability in organization, problem-solving, sales/negotiation, leadership, and team building.
  • Knowledge of internal systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Some overseas travel is involved in this role.
