Global Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualization of innovative products and technologies
  • Creation of new products adhering to applicable regulations and standards
  • Leadership and oversight of projects throughout the development process, including Design Reviews, Technical Reviews, and Project Gate Reviews within the Innovation and Development sectors of the Wound Care division
  • Preparation and delivery of project updates at all organizational levels
  • Technical accountability for a specific product range in the domain of negative pressure wound therapy
  • Collaboration with various departments such as marketing, production, supply chain, and regulatory affairs
  • Assisting the broader organization in the maintenance and revision of documentation in line with relevant standards
  • Ensuring product adherence to all pertinent regulations and guidelines
Required Qualifications:
  • Completed education in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., medical technology, polymer technology/engineering) with a focus on polymers/plastics and related manufacturing technologies
  • Experience in the design and processing of polymer materials, including extrusion and injection molding
  • Experience in project collaboration and/or management
  • Background in wound care and medical devices
  • Understanding of medical device regulations and related areas (e.g., application, design control, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilization, CE marking, FDA compliance, etc.)
  • Proficiency in English and German
