Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at PAUL HARTMANN AG. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and technologies in the field of electrical engineering.

Responsibilities:
  • Product Concept Development: Generate innovative ideas for new products and technologies, focusing on electrical engineering and wound care.
  • Product Development: Develop new products in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, ensuring high-quality and safe products for our customers.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to project management activities, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Set up electrical testing setups and collaborate with suppliers to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Product Ownership: Take technical responsibility for a dedicated product assortment in the field of negative pressure wound care, ensuring product compliance and quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, supply chain, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Support the wider company in maintaining and updating documentation in accordance with relevant requirements, ensuring product compliance and regulatory adherence.
Requirements:
  • Education: Trained Electrician or Electronics Technician with further studies, minimum Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Experience in project collaboration and/or project management, with a focus on electrical engineering and wound care.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and associated subject areas, such as application, design control, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilization, CE conformity, and FDA.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and German.
