Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at PAUL HARTMANN AG. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products and technologies in the field of electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Idea Generation: Develop innovative ideas for new products and technologies, focusing on electrical engineering and wound care.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Technical Design: Assist in technical design questions and support project management activities, ensuring timely and efficient product development.
  • Testing and Quality: Set up electrical testing setups and collaborate with suppliers to ensure high-quality products.
  • Technical Responsibility: Take ownership of a dedicated product assortment in the field of negative pressure wound care, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, supply chain, and regulatory affairs, to drive product development and innovation.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Support the wider company in maintaining and updating documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Trained Electrician or Electronics Technician with further studies, minimum Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project collaboration and/or project management, with a focus on electrical engineering and wound care.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and associated subject areas, such as application, design control, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilization, CE conformity, and FDA.
  • Language: Fluent in English and German.
