About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our scale markets in Europe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and growth opportunities.
    • Deliver the framework processes for robust and reliable forecast accuracy, including the weekly operations review and annual/quarterly forecast processes.
    • Support the product investment forecasting process in collaboration with the planning team by giving clear strategic directions and growth opportunities derived from sell-in to sell-out methodology.
  • Revenue Generation
    • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, monitor performance, and take corrective actions when necessary.
    • Deliver the framework processes for robust and reliable forecast accuracy, including the weekly operations review and annual/quarterly forecast processes.
  • Market Share Growth
    • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market reach in line with brand strategies.
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about consumer preferences and industry trends.
  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
    • Foster a culture of diversity & inclusion, accountability, teamwork, growth mindset, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
    • Maintain distribution in compliance with Levi's Retail Network and Terms & Conditions.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting
    • Analyse sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandise, planning, marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to business growth.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the apparel industry in the European market.
  • 10+ years of experience in wholesale in Germany, France, and the UK.
  • Previous management of big accounts and top-to-top relationships.
  • Proven ability to grow a business effectively and run a P&L.
  • Leadership experience in managing large teams across geographies.

Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written, German.
