Job Summary



We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong customer relationships in the European market. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic business plans, fostering a high-performance sales team, and contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization.



Key Responsibilities



  • Strategic Planning



    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and growth opportunities.
    • Deliver the framework processes for robust and reliable forecast accuracy, including the weekly operations review and annual/quarterly forecast processes for these accounts.
    • Support the product investment forecasting process in collaboration with the planning team by giving clear strategic directions and growth opportunities derived from sell-in to sell-out methodology.



  • Revenue Generation



    • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, monitor performance, and take corrective actions when necessary.
    • Deliver the framework processes for robust and reliable forecast accuracy, including the weekly operations review and annual/quarterly forecast processes.



  • Market Share Growth



    • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market reach in line with brand strategies.
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about consumer preferences and industry trends.



  • Team Leadership



    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
    • Foster a culture of diversity & inclusion, accountability, teamwork, growth mindset, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development.



  • Customer Relationship Management



    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
    • Maintain distribution in compliance with Levi's Retail Network and Terms & Conditions.



  • Performance Analysis and Reporting



    • Analyse sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.



  • Collaboration



    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandise, planning, marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to business growth.




About You




  • You will have a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • You will have proven experience in sales leadership roles within the apparel industry in the European market.
  • You will have 10+ years of experience in wholesale in Germany, France, UK.
  • You will have previous management of big accounts and top-to-top relationships.
  • You will have a proven ability to grow a business effectively and run a P&L.
  • You will have leadership experience in managing large teams across geographies.


Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills




  • You will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
  • You will have demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • You will have strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • You will have excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • You will be fluent in English, spoken and written, and German.

  • You will be capable of making challenging decisions with a practical approach, backed by a strategic decision-making track record.
  • You will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • You will be able to negotiate at the highest level – internal and external.
