Job Summary

The Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships in the European market. This role will require strategic leadership, sales expertise, and a deep understanding of the apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and growth opportunities.
  • Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, monitor performance, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the apparel industry in the European market.
  • 10+ years of experience in wholesale in Germany, France, and the UK.
  • Previous management of big accounts and top-to-top relationships.
  • Proven ability to grow a business effectively and run a P&L.
  • Leadership experience in managing large teams across geographies.

Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.

  • Capable of making challenging decisions with a practical approach, backed by a strategic decision-making track record.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to negotiate at the highest level – internal and external.
